Levelr is an RV leveling tool built for simplicity and privacy. We designed it from the ground up to require no data collection whatsoever. This privacy policy describes how we handle your information — which, to be direct, is not at all.
We are committed to your privacy. This policy explains what Levelr does and does not do with any data that may exist on your device while using the app.
Levelr does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:
Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, device ID), location data, sensor or motion data, usage analytics or crash reports, purchase or payment information, or any data that could be used to identify you as an individual.
We have no servers that receive data from the app. We have no database of users. We genuinely do not know you are using Levelr.
Levelr stores the following data locally on your iPhone, and only on your iPhone:
Leveling sessions: When you complete a leveling session, the app may optionally log the date, duration, pitch/roll readings, and a location name (if you choose to tag it). This is stored via SwiftData on your device only.
RV Presets: Named preset configurations (calibration offsets, tolerance settings, notes) that you create are stored locally via SwiftData.
Calibration: Calibration offsets are stored in your device's local app storage (UserDefaults/AppStorage).
None of this data is backed up to our servers (we have none), transmitted to any third party, or accessible to us in any form.
Levelr uses your device's accelerometer and gyroscope (via Apple's CoreMotion framework) to measure pitch and roll in real time. This sensor data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted anywhere. The data is used solely to display the bubble level on screen.
Levelr does not request access to your device's GPS or location services. If a future version of the app adds optional location tagging for session logs, it will request explicit permission and store the data only on your device.
Levelr uses the device's rear flashlight (torch) via AVCaptureDevice when you tap the flashlight toggle. No camera feed is captured, recorded, processed, or stored.
Levelr does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics services, advertising networks, or crash reporting tools. There are no third parties involved in the operation of this app.
Because Levelr collects no personal data, it is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect any information from children or any other age group.
If we ever change our data practices, we will update this policy and note the revision date at the top of this page. We will never retroactively change practices in a way that is less private than what is described here without providing clear notice.
